The Krawan embroidery lace production is unique to the island, hand sewn and hand cut by artisans trained in the art of this specialized sewing. All garments are made from 100% white primissima cotton, the finest quality available.

The Art of Batik is an old Indonesian tradition dating back centuries originating on the isle of Java.   The designs are stamped in wax by hand using carved wooden blocks to shape the designs.  The fabrics are dyed in the chosen colors and then dried in the sun to bring out the full bright coloration.  The material is then washed in hot water to remove the wax, then dried and is ready for production.
